  19. <p>     Remember the former wrestler who fought Muhammad Ali to a
  20. "standoff" in a farcical wrestling-boxing match? The
  21. enterprising Inoki won a seat in Japan's parliament
  22. representing the Sports and Peace Party, and last week flew to
  23. Iraq in a bid to negotiate the release of hostages.
